The Beautiful Land Initiative had the privilege to hear from the heart of Mayor Yosef Ben David of Tiberias, Israel, who had come speak to our volunteers. He shared about growing up in that very neighborhood as a boy. He also invited all to come to next year’s celebration for the 2000th anniversary of the City of Tiberias. Among the volunteers who participated in the event were 50+ students and staff from Liberty University (thanks David Welch!), students from Gateways Beyond Cyprus, students from Ordet og Israel (Denmark), and many locals. What made this day even more special was that it was Purim! We want to give a huge shout out to all the volunteers and supporters who made this event possible.
