Dr. Katiya Cytryn-Silverman
Senior lecturer at both the Institute of Archaeology and the Department of Islamic and Middle Eastern Studies of The Hebrew University of Jerusalem, teaching undergraduate and graduate studies.
She directs the excavations at Tiberias at the Sea of Galilee since 2009.
Dr. Katja Soennecken
Katja Soennecken (born 1982) studied Classical Archaeology, Protestant Theology and Jewish Studies in Heidelberg, Berlin, Edinburgh, Münster and Wuppertal and majored in Biblical Archeology on the subject of “Cultural upheavals in the southern Levant. The Transition from the Bronze Age to the Iron Age with Special Consideration of the Tall Zirāʿa.”
